The company, which serves the six New England states, was founded by Frank Mahony, now retired. Our primary office/warehouse is located at 273 Weymouth Street, Rockland, Massachusetts, where our staff of 12 comprises one of the largest rep organizations in New England. A vital part of our business is our service division which is available to respond to customers’ needs 7 days a week. We also have offices in West Townsend, MA, and Winthrop, ME.

Current principals of FRMA, Inc., are Keith Dobie, Ed Quann, Dennis Geran, and Lois Boyington. We take pride in the education and experience of our staff and in the commitment we make to provide the very best in equipment and service to our customers. We include in our ranks four Master’s Degrees in Civil/Sanitary Engineering, one BS in Mechanical Engineering, one BS in Chemical Engineering, an electrical/controls engineer, and an electrician.

BS, Environmental Health, University of Massachusetts, MS, Environmental Engineering, Northeastern University; served Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection as Senior Engineer, and City of Leominster as Director of Public Health.  Member, the American Water Works Association, the Boston Society of Civil Engineers, the New England Water Environment Association, and the Water Environment Federation.

Joined this company in 1981.  BA, Biology, Boston University, MS Civil Engineering, Northeastern University.  Researcher and laboratory technician for consulting firm.  Research Assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.  Administration Assistant, Northeastern University.  Treasurer of the New England Water Environmental Association and member of the Water Environmental Federation.

LOIS W. BOYINGTON

Joined the company in 1978. Extensive experience in sales management in retail and commercial markets as well as water and wastewater equipment field. Currently in charge of accounting and inside sales with lengthy experience in the entire company operation.

Joined this company in 1996.  BS, Engineering, University of Vermont, Graduate of the Worcester Polytech University School of Industrial Management, MS Candidate, School of Engineering Northeastern University with a major in Water and Wastewater Engineering.  Formerly employed by CPC Division of Wheelabrator for seventeen years, held various engineering positions with that firm before becoming National Sales Manager.  Member, New England Water and Environmental Association, Water Environmental Federation, and American Water Works Association.

Joined this company in 2000.   AD, Civil Engineering, Vermont Technical College. Grade VII Wastewater Operator, Massachusetts. Grade III Water Distribution Operator, Massachusetts.  Grade IV Wastewater Collections System Operator, NEWEA.  Formerly employed as superintendent for twenty-two years involved in plant construction, and upgrades. Managed in-house construction of wastewater collections systems and pumping stations. Designed, constructed, inspected all aspects of gravity sewers, force mains, and low-pressure sewer systems.  Past President and current Director of MWPCA.  Member of American Water Works Association and New England Water Environment Association.

Merged with this company in 1998.  BS Chemical Engineering, Northeastern University.  Started M.A.S.T. - Mixing Aeration & Separation Technologies in 1991. Formerly employed by Hydro-Dyne as Sales Manager-Northeastern NE for six years.  Previously with Chemineer-Kenics specializing in static mixing/agitation processes for pulp & paper, industrial chemicals plus minerals as well as petroleum.  Outside sales for the NE rep for one year after five years application engineering/R&D.  Co-op at Artisan Industries for three years doing heat transfer, distillation/evaporation and pilot-scale separation research for client firms as well as system erection, analysis and pump maintenance.  Member of New England Water and Environmental Associates,  Water Environmental Federation, Select Society of Sanitary Sludge Shovelers, TAPPI, IBS and ASEV.

MARIE T. ENGEL
CAD SPECIALIST

Joined this company in 1997. AD, Civil/Structural Technology, Blue Hill Regional Technical Institute. Formerly employed by DeFeo, Wait & Paré as a land survey technician and CAD supervisor. Previously employed by Charles L. Rowley & Associates as a land surveyor, title researcher and draftsman. Currently in charge of CAD and assists with accounting.

Joined this company in 1998.  AB from Gainesville Jr. College, Gainesville, GA.  Formerly employed in the insurance industry with twenty years customer service experience and account management.  She is currently responsible for inside sales of new and after market equipment, and post-order management.
